Dr. Lee brings clinical experience, an interest in dental research, and an inventive mindset to his practice in Innisfil. Alongside caring for patients, he is the inventor of a wedgeless sectional matrix system for dental restorations. His work is driven by a practical question: how can better tools and techniques improve patient care?

 

Dr. Lee earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry in 2014 before returning to Canada to practise. Born in South Korea, he moved to Canada at age 15 and now calls Innisfil home.

His clinical experience includes more than 10,000 wisdom tooth extractions, with an emphasis on careful planning, safety, and precision. He is also invited to dental clinics across Ontario and British Columbia to provide complex root canal treatment, implant surgery, and wisdom tooth extractions under IV sedation.

Dr. Lee’s approach focuses on minimally invasive dentistry, prevention, and helping patients understand their treatment options. He provides comprehensive dental care, with particular interests in root canal treatment, oral surgery, and orthodontics, including braces and clear aligners.

​

His interest in research and innovation extends beyond his invention. Through thousands of hours of continuing education and attendance at dental conferences worldwide, he continues to explore developments that can inform his clinical practice.

 

As an Innisfil resident, Dr. Lee values the relationships that come with caring for his own community. His goal is to make every patient feel heard, informed, and comfortable with the next step in their care.
